I decided to explore NY and find myself a good film developer as I was unsatisfied with the service I got from Rite Aide. Through Foursquare and Yelp, I stumbled on this hidden store in Brooklyn at its Greenpoint neighborhood, Kubus. I walked into the shop and a man, aged with much knowledge in photography quickly set me up on the type of prints I wanted. I must say when he thought I was well-versed with photography since I already know what I want and how I wanted them, he was very amiable to me. When I came back to pick up my prints, he realized my skills were actually poor as evidence by the photos developed, he was brusque to send me on my way. He advised me that there was something wrong with the rewinding and I should bring my camera to get checked up. I think I will be back with my camera and give the shop another try. I like how my prints are ready in 30 minutes (unlike 2 previous shops I visited), have an option of printing them in matte, and being charged for only $11 for both prints and CDs for 24 exposures(though I paid $9 only because not all photos came out good).

Red Riding Blazer
I got my Maternal and Newborn Nursing exam this Wednesday. I have been spending my weekend studying at home. With that in mind and a Charge Nurse Role Report and Worksheet due tomorrow I sacrificed sleep last night trying to get my papers started. Slumber didn't come until 4am. The timing of the all-nighter wasn't just right since I had to wake up early for the meeting. Of course, I didn't and yes I was late again. This time I was atrociously late and I was dosing off half the time of the meeting. I don't even know how I still have the energy to write this.
On me: red blazer from Anne Klein, striped long sleeve shirt, pants from Gap, spiked flats from Jimmy Choo, handbag from Coach.

Thrifting Republics
Surprised to see a good forecast this morning so I decided to enjoy this beautiful weather while it's still here. Yes, beautiful weather in New York is a sweater and a coffee on hand. We are just bracing ourselves for winter.
Today's ensemble is a pintuck blouse from Banana Republic and a full skirt thrifted from Buffalo Exchange + my go to handbag and aldo oxfords.
