I decided to explore NY and find myself a good film developer as I was unsatisfied with the service I got from Rite Aide. Through Foursquare and Yelp, I stumbled on this hidden store in Brooklyn at its Greenpoint neighborhood, Kubus. I walked into the shop and a man, aged with much knowledge in photography quickly set me up on the type of prints I wanted. I must say when he thought I was well-versed with photography since I already know what I want and how I wanted them, he was very amiable to me. When I came back to pick up my prints, he realized my skills were actually poor as evidence by the photos developed, he was brusque to send me on my way. He advised me that there was something wrong with the rewinding and I should bring my camera to get checked up. I think I will be back with my camera and give the shop another try. I like how my prints are ready in 30 minutes (unlike 2 previous shops I visited), have an option of printing them in matte, and being charged for only $11 for both prints and CDs for 24 exposures(though I paid $9 only because not all photos came out good).
